Olivares was founded in 1952 as an ordinary food store, but soon Olivares family realized that first tourists in Almuñécar asked for some products that certainly were hard to find in Spain at that time. Working hard in this new business opportunity, Olivares turned into a foreign food store first and adding fine wines and liqueurs later.
